At CROI 2025, Dr. Flavia Matovu Kiweewa from MU-JHU Care LTD | MU-JHU Research Collaboration presented impactful research highlighting the power of choice in HIV prevention. Her study focused on F/TAF, a daily oral Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) option that offers women more choice and control in HIV prevention. Her findings showed that women who took F/TAF consistently had the highest level of protection against HIV, but even those who missed some doses still received significant protection.
